Golf
Aphrodite Hills magnificent championship standard 18-hole golf course, designed by acclaimed course architect, Cabell B. Robinson. It follows the scenic contours of the two plateaux, its challenging fairways cutting a swathe through lakes, olive and carob trees. It’s no surprise the course has taken its rightful place among the very best the Mediterranean can offer.

No matter how many times you play the course, there’s always a new challenge. Not least the skill needed to conquer the beautiful holes that run alongside or traverse the dramatic central ravine overlooking the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean below.

Club house
A beautifully designed building, the Clubhouse houses the Golf Administration offices and Clubhouse Restaurant on the ground level, plus a well-stocked Pro Shop on the lower level.

The Clubhouse Restaurant serves a light 5-star à la carte menu with a selection of snacks, grills and a Sunday international buffet.

The Clubhouse plays host for many social events, including weddings and receptions, parties and theme nights. Whether you are hosting a corporate event or celebrating a special occasion, the breathtaking views of the 18th green and the surrounding countryside from the terrace create a memorable backdrop.

Health Spa
Whether it becomes an essential part of a daily routine, a place of rest and contemplation, or simply a relaxing spot to sit on the terrace and enjoy the sunshine, The Retreat at Aphrodite Hills is a haven for spa lovers, with tranquil surroundings, coupled with superb facilities and an expert team of therapists tend to your every need.

Day passes, special group rates, pre-booked single treatments and half/full day packages are all available at The Retreat. Guests can also partake in bathing rituals, sport and spa combinations and long stay packages of between five and seven days.

The Retreat's operating hours in the summer are from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, with treatments taking place only from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. Operating hours in the winter are 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, with treatments taking place only from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Tours at The Retreat are by appointment only and can be conducted from 9:00 am to 10:00 am and from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

Village Square

The beautiful Village Square is the focal point of daily life at Aphrodite Hills and a charming rendezvous for owners and visitors alike. Designed to reflect the unhurried atmosphere of a traditional Cypriot village and built from locally quarried stone, it stands at the heart of the resort overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
The Village Square has a real community ambience with a great choice of shops and restaurants. These are listed below, something for everyone and choice for every day of the week!

For children and teenagers, there are also the Rainbow, Pegasus and Zoouse Kids Clubs, a children's playground and the fun Grotto Teens Club.

Golf Academy & Driving Range
The Golf Academy at Aphrodite Hills features first class practice facilities including a large double-ended driving range with targets and distance markers. The short game facilities include pitching and chipping greens with bunkers and a generously sized putting green. The Academy also has a challenging 3-hole course, consisting of two par 4's and a par 3.

The Aphrodite Hills Golf Academy offers a wide range of programmes for golfers of all ages and abilities, under the expert tutelage of our experienced PGA-qualified Golf Professionals, Andrew Darker and Giles Johnson. They have extensive experience and expertise, along with access to the latest training technology.

Golf lessons are available in the English and German languages.

Tennis Academy
The Tennis Academy features a total of 9 floodlit tennis courts (4 clay and 5 hard courts). In 2009 there will also be a stadium court for 600 spectators. The menu is diverse in its offering and satisfies players of all levels. Private coaching sessions with professional instructors on everything from stroke correction with video analysis to general play, and tennis packages are available tailored to each player’s abilities. What’s more, the Tennis Academy works alongside The Retreat Spa, prestigiously recognized as the “Best European Spa 2008” at the Professional Beauty Awards, to offer a comprehensive fitness and wellness experience.

Private lessons and group lessons are currently available for juniors, adults, couples, and ladies groups for all levels of play from beginners to intermediate. The junior program is recommended for children from 4 to 17 years old and lessons are offered in Greek and English. Junior programs are specifically designed for different age groups such as “Kindertennis” for children under 5 years old, “Aces” for 4-7 year olds, “Young Guns” for 8-12 year olds and intermediate and advanced programs for older children.

Also available are a full racquet fitting, re-stringing and sales service as well as general equipment and clothing sales and advice. Tennis racquets are available for hire for general play and all equipment is provided for academy sessions.

Riding Club
Aphrodite's Riding Club is a complete horse riding experience in the forestry land of Lakkos tou Frangou, which is adjacent to the north end of Aphrodite Hills. The Riding Club offers private and group lessons, trekking sessions and petting and grooming for younger children.

Beach Facilities
Experience the wonders of "The Cove Beach", right by the resort’s main entrance at an idyllic setting for a true Mediterranean bathing experience, under the sun. Accessed by shuttle from the InterContinental Aphrodite Hills Resort Hotel, the Cove provides a unique kiosk with wooden deck, cushioned chaise loungers, beach towels and umbrellas.

The Cove is the perfect place to relax by the sea and enjoy a refreshing swim just minutes from the resort. Ice-cold soft drinks and delicious seafood are available.

In addition to the Cove, resort residents and guests can also enjoy the exclusive Zias Beach Club in nearby Avdimou, a few minutes drive from the resort, offering a sandy, children-friendly beach. The Club consists of two areas -the complimentary beach facilities (sunbeds, umbrellas, towels), and the bar and restaurant facilities. A shuttle bus service is available at frequent intervals.

Golf Clubhouse - The Golf Lounge; Undoubtedly a really beautiful area, the Golf Lounge is adjacent to the Golf Clubhouse. It is open during both day and night, providing the perfect place for an enjoyable and relaxing time to have a drink, either before dinner or after. The Golf Lounge can be used also as an exclusive area for Golf Club members.

Village Square - Pithari Tavern; Pithari Tavern offers guests the opportunity to taste authentic island cookery and serves traditional tavern-type food in either the meze or the a la carte variation. The menu consists of a variety of Greek and Cypriot meat and fish dishes prepared in accordance with authentic recipes.

Village Square - Zimi Pizza & Pasta; Zimi Pizza & Pasta is a traditional over the counter restaurant with a great variety of freshly made pizzas and calzones, oven-baked pasta dishes and pasta classics prepared to order, and a fresh salad bar for quick service.

Village Square - L Atelier Brasserie; The L’Atelier Brasserie features a spectacular design and an amazing menu of French delicacies will for sure satisfy even the most selective guests. Our Chef of the L’Atelier has prepared a light lunch and a delicious dinner menu along with the best international wines available.

Village Square - Secret Garden; The Secret Garden is a hot rock theme restaurant, meaning that the guests are presented with a ceramic plate with a hot granite rock on top where they can cook and eat their own food.

Village Square - Anoi Pub & Bar; Anoi Pub & Bar serves a large variety of draft and bottled beers, a new world wine list and quality fast-food favourites from steaks and potato skins to fajitas and spicy chicken wings, potato skins, mozzarella dips and spicy chicken wings, quickly prepared steaks, ribs and some traditional Mexican food like fajitas and the traditional juicy hamburgers.
